Vitamin C in Skincare – Skinkissed Serum

Hello all!

We have discussed Vitamin C in many different ways on this blog. Usually found in yellow and orange citrus fruits, the benefits of Vitamin C include protection against immune system deficiencies, cardiovascular disease, and eye disease!

The element of Vitamin C we are looking at today is its addition to skincare and how much it can protect and maintain our skin! Vitamin C in skincare can add many anti-aging benefits. It is known for protecting skin from sun damage, particularly UVA and UVB rays.

I have been recently using the Vitamin C serum from UK brand, Skinkissed. Their serum can be used during both the AM and PM and is chock FULL of the amazing Vitamin C. Skinkissed also contains hyaluronic acid, collagen, and rose oil.

Skinkissed has become my new personal favourite over the summer and has completely converted me to serums!

It’s the most lightweight serum I have ever used, plumping and hydrating the skin ready for any cosmetic application or as a base for heavier creams. The quick absorption of this serum is what makes it such an amazing product, never feeling sticky on the skin but leaving a plumped, firm feeling!  I know this already sounds amazing but do you want to hear the best part? THEY ARE ANIMAL CRUELTY-FREE! I love this!
