So, below I have taken part in the Autumn Tag! A little breakdown of what this beautiful time of year means to me! Get involved and share in the wonderful, cosy feels!
LETS GO 🎃
1. What signifies the start of Autumn for you?
The little chilly nip in the air that allows you to throw on a scarf. The beautiful changes in the colour of the trees, the freezing cold dark with the bright blue sky and of course dark nights!
2. What is your favourite Fall scent?
I can split this into two!
For a personal fragrance I love something really dark and filled with Oud as we head into Autumn. I leave my Estèe Lauder Bronze Goddess summer days and into the darker Estèe Lauder Wood Mystique or White Company Noir.
From my home fragrance I love burning something like a Winter candle by the White Company or Pomergrane Noir by Jo Malone. Those hints of orange and cinnamon remind me always of this time of year as we head into winter!
I love all black outfits through autumn and winter. I think it looks so classy and chic and can be highlighted with accessories.
4. What is your favourite Fall drink?
A warming drink is exactly what this time of year requires. My favourite is a large mug of Twinings Lemon and Ginger tea.
5. What TV show, new or old, are you looking forward to this Fall?
House of Cards. Stranger Things Season 2. Peaky Blinders. Poldark.
6. What is your favourite Fall fashion trend?.
Over sized scarves. Over sized knitted jumpers. Knee high boots. Smart winter coats.
7. What is your favourite frugal Autumn activity?
Getting my hyyge on.
Having an early night in my house when it’s dark and raining. Having a bath. Candles on. Drinking my lemon and ginger tea, catching up on Twitter and Instagram and just feeling completely cosy and content.
8. What is your favourite makeup look come autumnal weather?
The autumn palette is one of my favourites.
My make up base will stay the same with a mostly powder base but will introduced darker berry lip colours, more copper/gold eye bases and a move to golden highlighter as opposed to the silver/blue tones I use in summer!
So there we go!
As September rolls into October and we begin to anticipate Halloween (🎃!) and onwards to Christmas, there’s no denying that this time of year has a particularly magical feel.
