Review: Lush Enchanted Eye Cream

Hydrated under-eyes, yay!

On a recent Lush trip with my best friend Jonathan, he recommended an eye cream he said he had seen real personal results with.

I really struggle with eye creams. Sometimes they irritate my eyes and make them super dry or I just don’t see any results with them. I am quite dry around my eyes which makes me super sad but also quite anxious to find a cream that really works.

I haven’t really used a lot of Lush products before, but this eye cream came super highly recommended so I thought I would give it a wee go.

I love the consistency of this cream. Slightly thicker than a cleansing milk, it glides on to the under eye area with minimal effort. I have to say though, I am not crazy about the smell of this cream. It doesn’t really smell of anything and it kind of bothers me. Its probably because your man Marcin has put loads of good stuff in it!!

I use this mostly on a nighttime so I can have a wee nap with it on. What I do absolutely love is that it dries quickly meaning I can apply concealer over the top. This is something that used to REALLY annoy me about the Avocado eye cream from Kiehl’s as it used to make my concealer go patchy; that is not an issue with the Enchanted Eye cream!

As it states on the packaging, it is simple, refreshing and softening and my peepers are loving it! It doesn’t sting or irritate my eyes and I can definitely see an improvement in the hydration-status of my under eye and the skin just looks a lot more rested and less-lined!

All in all I would give the cream a solid 6/10. Its much better than other creams I have tried in the bath but it hasn’t changed my life. The hunt for the perfect eye cream continues…
